BOOM

Here is a piece I took of the fireworks before a Camas High School football game. This is actually two different pictures stitched together and put on overlay to only reveal the light areas, the fireworks.  To finalize the picture i enhanced the color of the sunset and burned some of the clouds.

Fire

Here is a picture I took of a crazy sunset at the very top of a hill near my house. When put into photoshop, I created two of the same picture. One edit revealed the blue tones and the other revealed the orange tones. I was able to do this by changing the temperature of the picture. I opened up both pictures together, laying the blue on top of the orange. I placed a mask over the blue toned layer and revealed the sky and the wisps of the cloud. I darkened the wispy ends of cloud and the landscape below by using the burn tool and  I created more of a glow around the sun by using the dodge tool.

equipment

My name is Phoebe Gadbaw and my main focus is model photography. Below I have stated my equipment:

Canon Rebel XS Camera
18-55 lens
75-300 lens
Tripod

Fractured Friends

This is a photo montage taken of five different girls. First I crinkled and ripped up a piece of printer paper, put the pieces back together and scanned it onto my computer. This gave it the affect of a ripped magazine piece. I then took the individual pictures of these five girls and placed them each into a piece of paper. Lining each facial feature up with the next girls was the focus of this piece. It took a long time but it became very effective for this photograph. Finally, I placed an individual photo behind the montage in an edited black and white filter.
